Spanked on a scooter

Okay, I only wish I’d gotten spanked on a scooter, but there’s always next time. I think ‘d be nervous to ride it but it was so sexy and purple and yummy. I’m very excited because over at Nobolis Erotica, you can listen to Danielle A. Nelson of Braindouche Studios read my Spanked story “The Depths of Despair.” I’ve been wanting to podcast my stories for a while, and even bought a voice recorder but…I’m slow. Maybe in 2009! For now, listen to that one.

Through the years, many of my spanking discoveries defied my expectations. I learned that I personally can’t take the pounding hand spankings I’ve seen others take. Oh, I warm up just fine to those preliminary slaps, the ones meant to warm the skin and prep the flesh. But up the ante into full-fledge mode and you’ll find me at my physical limit in no time. It’s fine for an over-the-knee quickie (and I do enjoy pressing my belly against my superior’s erection during the agony), but no one has been able to figure out how to escalate a hand spanking so I can find blissful ecstasy in it. Or maybe I’m so sensitive that trying to get me there takes so long that it’s like watching paint dry.

Paddle me while I’m in blue jeans, however, and you’ll have me in heaven in no time. Dang, but doesn’t that feel good! And, if the friction’s right, I’ll get the spanking equivalent of rug burn. Yum!

I’ve found that for all the sting I can’t handle, I take a certain amount of thud just fine, thank you very much. The cane is exquisite torment. The paddle, trying. Especially if you use the spike side. (Beware: skin breaks damn easy. Which is fine with me, but if you’re taking my cue and bringing it to a partner, make sure you’re both prepared for it.) The flogger, the quirt, the single tail. I love to hate them all. And hate to love them as well.

I heart Richard Windsor

So I felt really dumb when I realized that I was supposed to get back to blogger Richard Windsor about hmi interviewing me for his blog for the virtual book tour. I, um, am not that Internet savvy about certain things and don’t have Skype and haven’t quite figured it out yet.

But now I’m kindof grateful because he’s put together this wonderful post where he reads from Shanna Germains’ story “Perfect Bound,” Elizabeth Coldwell’s “Through a Glass, Sharply,” and my own “The Depths of Despair.”

I think listening to erotica brings out nuances of stories that simply reading doesn’t, so it’s wonderful to hear him, especially with his sexy British accent. And it reminds me that I bought a voice recorder way back in like March and haven’t used it yet! Again, my technofear arises. Will work on that.

Also, Richard’s bog has a “Bloggers I Have Spanked section” – how cool is that? I would start one, but…I might get into trouble. Maybe Bloggers I’d Like to Spank? Like a kinky crushes list.

Spanking writing contest – win a copy of Spanked

Over at today’s installment of the Spanked virtual book tour at Thomas’s spanking exploits, you can win a copy of Spanked: Red-Cheeked Erotica! Go to his blog to enter, but here’s the premise of the contest:

The result, then, is a drabble contest. To clarify, a “drabble” is a short passage of exactly (or at least close to) a hundred words, typically used as a writing exercise to teach brevity. The theme for these passages will be “setting the scene.” Describe a scene in which someone is about to be spanked. It could be the moment before the first swat, or the ritual prior to discipline, or even being caught red-handed for a spankable offense.

Entries will be judged primarily for imagery and how easily the scene is visualized, but punctuation, spelling and grammar will count, too. The closeness to the desired number of words will also factor into judging. Entries will be accepted until midnight on Wednesday, then the contest will be closed for judging.
